2baba’s return was not just physical, he also returned to the top of the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 Chart after a week at number two. His song, Ihe Neme triumphantly regained its top position and elbowed out P-Square’s Alingo.

2baba had topped the very first edition of the chart which debuted on March 8 before leaving for Dubai with Annie for their wedding.

The Official Naija Chart is decided by an elite panel of Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers.  They include DJ Jimmy Jatt, Bella Naija’s music editor Onos Ariyo, Cool FM’s DJ Xclusive, DJ Humility and Big Time from Rhythm FM, DJ Case and Toolz from Beat FM and Osagie Alonge of Nigerian Entertainment Today.
