Saturday, Sept. 21, was the day for the ‘2Face Peace Awards’ in Abuja. The day began with 2face and Dammy Krane who was with him all along taking part in the annual Peace Walk held on every World Peace Day by the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) Abuja. The walk kicked off at 9am from the Old Parade Ground at Area 7 to the First Lady’s Peace Mission Building in Central Area, Abuja.

A lecture was then held at the Peace Mission Building to mark the date. It was delivered by Prof Suleiman Bogoro. Various personalities including the Min. of State for the FCT, Mrs Olajumoke Akinjide; Mrs Dayo Oluyemi-Kusa, Director of External Conflict Prevention and Resolution at the IPCR; Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Ade Abolurin and Ryan Grist, Programme Manager, Nigeria Stability and Reconciliatisw2on Programme at the British Council.
