Singer Rihanna is closing up on the release of her next Single, Stay, from her Unstoppable album. But rather than concentrate on the quality of the anticipated Single, Rihanna is implicitly fueling talks about the role of her once-estranged lover, Chris Brown, in the story behind the track, while her fans are dutifully trudging on.
Keeping the controversy alive over her reignited relationship, Rihanna has revealed the cover art for her new single, which looks suspiciously like Chris Brown, considering that she was pictured snuggling into a heavily tattooed man's neck. Although blurred, the tattoos seem to be Chris'.
During Yuletide, the pair rekindled their troubled romance, which saw Chris face assault charges for brutally beating his then-girlfriend in 2009.
Granted it could be a model who looks almost identical to the Don't Wake Me Up performer, the tattoos appear to be the same as Chris' back ink, which includes overlapping feathers and the man also wears a gold chain that looks a lot like the Turn Up The Music singer's signature jewelry.
Stay, a collaboration with Mikky Ekko, is believed to be about Chris and Rihanna's inability to stop loving him.
“Not really sure how to feel about it,” reads a part of the lyrics. “Something in the way you move, Makes me feel like I can’t live without you. Funny you’re the broken one but I’m the only one who needed saving.”
Stay, from Rihanna's new album Unapologetic, features a track by both the singer and her on-again-off again-beau. In the duet dubbed Nobody’s Business, the pair sing “Always be my boy / I’ll always be your girl” to each other.
However, while the singer may be open in her songs, and on the cover of her singles, she still refuses to discuss their relationship.
